Endeavor 21+ Foundation
work, Educational, Vocational, and Support Services for People in an Integrated living Community
Endeavor 21+ Foundation is a 501c3 that offers educational, vocational, and life skills opportunities at the safe, diverse, and intergenerational community of the Threefold Educational Foundation in Rockland County, NY. Endeavor 21+ “Team Members” have access to a truly integrated community where all embrace the opportunity to “Learn. Work. Live.” together.
As an example, our elderly friends at the Fellowship Community provide opportunities for Endeavor 21+ Team Members to work and care for the Senior Residents of The Fellowship. Endeavor 21+ workers and participants share meals and activities with the Seniors in addition to assisting in caring for their daily needs.
While some Team Members live in the local Spring Valley, NY community and walk to the 200+ acre campus, most Team Members commute from Rockland, Westchester, NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey. Our founding was started when students of Otto Specht School started to age out of the school system.
Mission
The mission of Endeavor 21+ is to make possible a self-sufficient and positive future for adults of all abilities to thrive in typical work and social settings. We emphasize the healing nature of practical work, artistic activities, and caring for others. Our young adults learn and work on a farm, in craft shops, and in serving the 150+ elderly residents who live at The Fellowship Community on the campus. This innovative approach recognizes the potential of each individual, and we support guiding their journey toward self-development and independent functioning in the world.
